Like the AMERICAN INDIANS – the spirituality, of EVERYTHING; EARTH, SPACE, THE SUN, MOON, really permeated their whole way of life– WHAT DO WE DO–?? we watch priests talk on some podium, and pray differently; I’M TALKING ABOUT ANOTHER WAY TO PRAY, a way of going ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THAT LEVEL, put a prayer to EARTH– The Indians saw things differently than the white man, IT WAS PERMEATED IN EVERYTHING, FOR THEM, E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G, to them the AIR was even SACRED..
I still think it’s important to address some sort of divine aspect, like some GREAT SPIRIT of earth, space, eternity, existence – to get down to prayer, for having something to praise, maybe just mother nature, spirits to pray to as a way to pay homage– and to have anything to pray to, really gives color and flare to a life, other-wards kind of bleak, i think… In the white man’s world, what is sacred–? we can’t even create a urban, modern world being any IDYLLIC or PICTURESQUE, i don’t look upon any city as being aesthetically-serene, pretty– OR CREATED TO ADDRESS A GREAT SPIRIT OF MOTHER NATURE, IT’S ALL MADE OF STEEL AND CONCRETE– GODLESS… SERVANTS HAS THE POWER!
It’s like the old ritual of pouring out a little of your drink, like the Vodka, on the ground– SAME THING..
