I keep coming back to this scene from The Doors movie by Oliver Stone:
I remember first time i ever saw it (i was already a huge Doors Fan, man! And was high on hashish and alcohol at the time..
And it really stuck with me – when Jim (Val Kilmer) says in the movie; “But you’re ALIVE, Ray…feel it… IT’S BEAUTIFUL..”
And, now 20-something years later – THAT sentence, hits me AGAIN, tonight….efter being through 13 years of hard horrible Psychiatric treatment– i’m NOW starting to come back to stuff i thought i had lost, just hit me tonight…
AND, we are all LUCKY to be alive – “FEEL IT…IT’S BEAUTIFUL..” – it is truly beautiful, which ever way or how long, we are alive – JUST, SIMPLY, TO BE ALIVE – is something like MAGIC, it’s beautiful in some weird way – sure it’s not easy to win when you always lose, BUT!
BUT, One should feel soo lucky just for having been born a human being, you know.. So much that it, kind of, overshadows all the disappointments in life – to just FEEL ALIVE, is really enough, every day every moment, is a gift
We’re all real lucky to be here, in this world and this time we got – JUST RELAX, enjoy the ride and know you’re THE ONE WHO LIVES, freedom to all!
Just the plain freedom – why work, what difference will it make in a-100 years that WE JUST LIVED?
Why not just live, just be?
Let’s elaborate on that last part some more…
TO JUST LIVE, not really follow-up on any particular NOTE – NOT to do what the herd does, WORK, etc etc – to rather JUST BE ALIVE.
To find that OTHER WORLD – the Paradise Lost, by shinning the world of man, the world of Babylon where you most work rather than JUST LIVE FOR A LIFE BY EARTH, NATURE – to find a way to a life where you totally just live, SURE; POOR; BUT FREE, to just bee..
It hits me like the right path, right flow to live by – even Brian Eno said the same thing; “It doesn’t mean, try not to do anything..” Whaty he means is that try to live your life for YOU doing what you want to do – you might lose a lot in that life, but it will be worth it..
AND, that’s what i like about a concept of “Guaranteed Income system” – to build a world where you dont NEED to work, makes it even more fun TO WORK – to work for EARTH, to go back to see as the Old Native Americans did, THAT EARTH is beautiful and that LIFE is beautiful, and that earth should be FUCKING WORSHIPPED FOR ALL THAT SAKE! That earth is SACRED, and YOU and ME, also SACRED!
Those sort of things, is something you find; as long as getting you down and out, doesn’t make you resort to THE BOTTLE, that’s a faulty progress to go throguh, PAIN makes us stronger, wakes us up and teaches us things…like, e.g how BEAUTIFUL life is!
